“Platform” means the website or mobile site operated by New Zealand Backpackers through which campervan rentals and tours are made available for booking.
“Product(s)” means any campervan, motorhome, car, or tour service made available by an Operator and booked by you.
“Operator(s)” means rental and tour companies whose products are listed on our Platform.
“Booking(s)” means any order, reservation, or confirmed purchase of a Product made by you through our Platform.
Through our Platform, Operators display and promote their Products for booking. When you make a booking, you enter a direct, legally binding contract with the Operator. We facilitate that process by transmitting your booking details and issuing a confirmation on the Operator’s behalf.
We take reasonable care to ensure the information presented by Operators on our Platform is accurate, but we cannot guarantee completeness or that content is always up to date. We are not responsible for any typographical errors, interruptions, or inaccurate information provided by Operators.
Our Platform does not represent an endorsement of any Operator’s quality, rating, or service.
The Platform is intended for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, monitor, scrape, or reproduce any part of our content or data for commercial use without written consent.
Prices shown on our Platform are displayed inclusive of GST, unless otherwise stated. Rates are valid only for the period shown on your quote or booking confirmation.
Occasionally, discounted or promotional rates may be displayed alongside a crossed-out regular price. This reflects a reduction from the Operator’s standard retail rate.
If you find a comparable product with identical conditions at a lower price, please contact us and we will do our best to match or improve that rate.
All pricing errors or misprints are non-binding. Promotional deals and limited-time offers are clearly marked as such.

Unless otherwise stated, our services are provided free of charge to customers. We do not apply booking fees or platform surcharges. You pay the Operator directly for the booked product.
Only Operators with a commercial agreement with us are listed. We are not an open marketplace where private individuals can advertise their own vehicles or tours.
Payments may be processed securely through approved third-party payment gateways. When we facilitate a payment, it is done on behalf of the Operator as settlement for your booking.
In some cases, prepayment via bank transfer may be required. This will be specified at the time of booking. Payments made through our Platform are encrypted and managed by trusted payment processors.
All deposits paid are non-refundable and non-transferable. Each Operator maintains their own cancellation and no-show policy, which applies in addition to these Terms.
Please review each Operator’s conditions carefully before confirming your booking, especially regarding age restrictions, security deposits, cancellation fees, or penalties.
Late payment, invalid card details, or insufficient funds are your responsibility and may result in cancellation without refund.
If you need to amend or cancel a booking, contact our customer support team. Additional fees may apply.
For delayed or late arrivals, you must contact the Operator directly to prevent your booking from being marked as a no-show.
Claims or complaints about the booked product should be raised directly with the Operator. While we can assist in facilitating contact, we do not assume liability for the Operator’s handling of complaints.

Operators are fully responsible for the provision, maintenance, and quality of their products and services. Any disputes, damages, or tax obligations related to your booking remain solely between you and the Operator.
All content, software, design, and branding associated with our Platform remain the exclusive property of New Zealand Backpackers.
You may not reuse, copy, or distribute any materials without prior written permission.
Any intellectual property created through use of our Platform automatically becomes the property of New Zealand Backpackers.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Any disputes shall be handled exclusively in the courts of NSW.
If any clause is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full effect.
